Yes, tis a fox. DH says coyotes look more mangy, and have long legs. We tend to hear the coyotes around here more often than we see them, though I've seen more coyotes than foxes.
Woops, I just realised I posted the last 2 comments under my other blog name. That is definitely a fox, and he certainly does look pleased with himself.
I guess I am happy that it is a fox...cheeky thing sunbathing on my land! I love wildlife however I wish they could stay on the edge of our land or in the woods.
