Answers.

OK.

1. "I've been framed mummy!" This is actually part of his sisters laundry basket that gave up trying to hold 3 weeks worth of dirty laundry & collapsed!

2. There are 3 frogs in the bug box that are learning how to handle heights!

3. Again it is the frog family and one of them is about to have a swimming lesson in a puddle.

4. Two Jedi's in training. Apparently (as per my eldest) the reason for the bag on the head is so the youngest can "learn to feel the force." Hmm not too sure myself, sounds more like the eldest one wants to win desperately. Amazing how gullible the youngest one is at times!!!

For all animal rights people we allow the kids to watch wildlife, bug box them & release them at the end of the day.

Guess what is happening in the following photo's...

I love encouraging the imagination in young children e.g. when I push them on a swing I send them to the top of Tinkerbell's castle, to the monkeys in the trees or to bounce on the moon.

Needless to say I was brought up reading Enid Blyton's books which are superb for fantasy and stimulating the imagination.

I guess it is rubbing off on my youngest at the moment:

Try & guess what this imaginative Kindergardener is doing in the photo's above?

Answers will follow in the next day or so..

Stay at home for a change!

I'm at home at the moment as school has finished and luckily my kids are in school until Wed at 12pm precisely.

I'm having the best time being able to appreciate the simple things in life:

1. A new project is on the way with the knitting......a hoodie sweater for number 3.

2. Long walks up & down the hill to firm the legs and buttocks before being exposed in a swimsuit.

3. Keeping Molly company. At last she is tiddling less on the floor.

4. Catching up with friends and talking on the phone.

5. Making darn delicious dinners that are served on time and are healthy.

6. De-cluttering the whole house...it feels good to get rid!

7. Meeting the kids off the bus....good mother or what?

8. Visiting the library so I have something to read...I never have time to browse in a book shop!

9. Number 1 was sick so I was able to look after her as I was home..normally she would stay home alone with lunchtime check ins & many phone calls.

10. Look more closely at our bills as I need to see if we are paying too much for cable, cell phones etc. Yawn boring!

11. I stripped the bathroom floor today of its grubby lino as we are hoping to tile it this weekend.

The list could go on & on. I know that I will get bored & ultra broke if I do not go back to work soon however I am loving life at the mo!

Two weeks before I start my summer job!

a 5 year olds story.....to his friend.

"So we were on a plane going to Florida."

"I've been to Florida."

"We were running out of gas so we were circling in the air above the ocean."

"Oh, did you land on a rock?"

"No, we had to put our parachutes on though."

"How about your oxygen masks?"

"No we did not need those as the plane decided to go in reverse back to the airport."

"Oh did that make you feel sick?"

Animal Retards

Our garden is turning into quite the animal sanctuary at the moment. Not the latest & greatest of animals more the retards & cast offs.

Our humming bird feeder is attracting lots of hummingbirds which are a delight to watch whilst sipping chilled wine in the screened porch. We have one that visits regularly who we call "Roger the Retard" as he arrives with the whirring of wings & then sits down for a rest, has a mouthful of food & then whirs away which is unusual as they normally feed as their wings continue to whir.

Then we have a pretty red chested hummingbird that we have named Halle after Halle Berry (Sir L's favourite lady.)

I'm looking for a suitable Colin Firth look alike...still looking!

We have just one turkey that gobbles away in the woods & then bombs it across our lawn. Since they normally travel in groups of 10 or more we have decided that he is "Billy No Mates." Maybe he should be called "Lucky" as he was the one that the coyotes did not get!

That brings me to coyotes those horrible yippy meanies! We have a pack that live in the fields behind us. At 7pm at night we hear there dreaded call which sends the shivers up your legs! They are a very eerie sounding animal, I always have the heart failure .....have I got all the animals in? We often hear them at 2am too after a successful night of hunting.......reminds me of the movie "Twilight." Spooky!

There is "Willard the woodpecker" who seems to forget that he should only peck old trees & is pecking way at our decent ones making holes as fast as he can.

We have chickadees nesting in our bird box..the first ones ever so hopefully they will have a cute fluffy chick or two that have 2 wings, 2 legs & a beak otherwise our cat may eat them!

That is about it for now.

Our neighbors have a moose and 2 bears so I guess I am grateful that we have the retards & unsociables that do not leave such big poops!
