I love encouraging the imagination in young children e.g. when I push them on a swing I send them to the top of Tinkerbell's castle, to the monkeys in the trees or to bounce on the moon.
Needless to say I was brought up reading Enid Blyton's books which are superb for fantasy and stimulating the imagination.
I guess it is rubbing off on my youngest at the moment:

I have no idea, but am *this* close to calling animal control (not really!). Looks like they are having a brilliant time and I will be ripping off your Tinkerbell's castle idea this very afternoon.
The Faraway Tree is one of my all time books. I'm a little embarrassed at how often I think about Moonface and the gang.
